Heavy’s no good on the hill, noisy won’t work either. Swazi’s new Generation 4 Whisper Fabric gives you a huge advantage over all the old-school rainwear out there that rustles like a cellophane ski suit. Plus, the hood can be shaped to keep water off your face while maintaining peripheral vision.
The new fabric comes with a bonus: stretch. It gives when you can’t. Like when you get hung up on brush – or twist for that tricky uphill shot – so you’re less likely to damage it, or yourself. Plus, a shorter outer ‘nap’ (that’s fuzz in Plain English) helps it shed water faster and dry quicker too.
Double-cuffed with water-resistant zips, the Tahr XP Anorak is made for doing vertical metres in horizontal rain.
Swazi were one of the first in the world to produce a soft, quiet, tough and durable rain garment. Made from a Polyester brushed tricot knit, with an eco-friendly 80/20 DWR (80% water-free in spray tests after 20 washes).
