How to Use:
- Flatten the thread using your fingernail.
- Insert the pointed edge of the SMHAEN thread splitter into the flattened thread.
- Slide the thread towards the small knob on the end of the needle to grip the individual fibers.
- Pull back slightly to separate the fibers, then push the round knob through to split the thread into two strands.
Note: This tool is designed for single ply linear fiber threads only. For example, UNI-thread polyester types cannot be split as they are not single ply.
