This rarely seen second hand Trout fly rod has had a some use but is in great condition, this is a proper factory built Sage and comes with the original tube and rod bag!
Sage say: The first thing we discovered during the development of the SP Series was that these rods don’t dictate how you have to cast them. You can push them for more power, or you can back off and achieve great delicacy. The SP’s smooth, quick-loading action is also easy to cast for both male and female anglers because it allows them to find their own casting rhythms. With difficult conditions or species, we use the ultra-fast SP+ rods. These rods are not for everybody, but skilled casters can achieve some very impressive results with an SP+. We’ve enjoyed the SP and SP+ rods all over the world.

When fishing from a float tube or boat, the 596-3 SP gives the angler extra height to make casting easier. The added length also assists with lifting, mending and line control.
