Penn US Senator Reels have a fully machined aluminum frame to keep internal parts in perfect alignment. The gear train in US Senator reels, with a massive stainless steel main gear and a heat treated pinion gear, is built to stand up to anything, including commercial use. Inside the main gear is Penn’s proprietary lubed or ”wet” HT-100 Versa Drag system.
