Precision Compression Technology provides an effective simple solution to the inherent problems created by knots and crimps.The fact is the Precision tubes require a large force to be compressed effectively. LYNX needed something very special to enable us to put the technology into the hands of the angler, but it had to be both ergonomic and easy to operate/cycle with as little effort as possible by the operator.

Four years in development and field trials, the Precision Toolforms the corner stone of the Precision System. Built frommilitary grade steels and hardened to 50 Rockwell, this is not a gimmick. The Precision Tool has been designed from the ground upwards and is capable of generating in the region of 2 tonnes of force with ease, the forces that are needed to work with Precision Tubes/Components. Standard crimping pliers will not be able to compress Precision Components. Due to the clever four-stage mechanical advantage you will be amazed at how little effort is needed, when you operate a Precision Tool.

During the design process nothing has been overlooked. From the build quality, to the rubber coated non-slip handles. All function perfectly. A set of interchangeable compression gauges are supplied with the Precision Tool that ensure accuracy levels of +/- 0.01mm. The compression gauges and self-aligning jaw have been designed to make loading and threading the Precision components simple, quick and easy.

In short, load the tool, insert the filament and in five quick cycle’s you will have a compression join that is far stronger than any knot or crimp. Supplied with instructions.
