Introducing the next generation of electric-steer, brushless, GPS trolling motors, the Lowrance Recon FX Trolling Motor features an industry-first 360-degree thumb control precision steering with Lowrance’s FreeSteer joystick remote. Designed to hold you on the spot with pinpoint accuracy, the Recon FW Trolling Motor gives anglers the confidence to get into position with best-in-class power and thrust while the highly accurate GPS anchor stays locked into an incredible 3ft/1m radius.

FreeSteer technology revolutionizes positional control with unique jogging abilities, that unlock the ability to move anchor positions freely, in eight total directions, without having to re-anchor the boat. Quicker than multiple key presses so your thumb never has to leave the remote, point and hold the joystick in any direction as the speed gradually ramps up and navigation begins proportionally to the joystick position. The remote has a traditional right/left button configuration along the X-axis that makes smaller 1.5-degree adjustments by tapping and releasing for or you can hold it down for larger steering rotation.

Recon is built using a silent brushless motor that doesn’t spook fish, no matter how close you get, and for full flexibility, it easily integrates with Lowrance multi-functional displays via the NMEA 2000 starter kit.
