Description
The Wildwood GTX boots are composed of Cordura, a material that is incredibly durable. These are some of the lightest boots in Harkila’s collection and have the advantage of being far more breathable and quick to dry than leather. They boast excellent comfort, reinforced stitching, and a medium-stiff sole that offers adequate support. The boots are created and produced in Europe, and they contain a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane that has been field-tested. Harkiola provides a two-year warranty on all of their footwear to protect you in the unusual event that the boots have a material or manufacturing flaw.
The Wildwood GTX boots weigh only around 620g per boot, making them among the lightest in their range. They have a medium-length, 7”/18 cm shaft and a standard-width last. The Wildwood GTX boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. Harkila then performs a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality.
The boot’s upper is made from extremely hardwearing Cordura, and the high-quality soles ensure good grip. The boots also feature a shock-absorbing midsole, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with an extra robust material at the toe and heel, where wear is typically the greatest.
