The Härkila Base Mesh long johns are mainly composed of an exceptionally breathable mesh fabric of 50% wool and 50% polyester, with flat seams, for comfort when worn as a base layer under your usual hunting wear. The crotch, inner thighs, knees and front of the lower thighs however are made from honeycombed jersey with a Polygiene finish to counteract odours and bacterial growth. This jersey fabric adds durability where the long johns are most subject to wear. The long johns also feature a soft, elasticated waist. They are designed for a close fit. So harkila has given them a lot of stretch to make them closely follow your movements, which means you will quickly forget you even have them on.
