Finished with a gunmetal grey anodized coating for exceptional durability, the Hundo is precision-cut from a solid 6061-T6 aluminum bar stock using Bates’ 9-axis CNC machine to provide unmatched strength, rigidity, and long-lasting performance.

Beyond the smaller and more palmable 100-sized frame, the Hundo Casting Reel boasts the Bates Fishing Co’s new Dual Matrix braking system and a shallower spool so anglers can easily dial in and cast lightweight lines and fishing lures. Packed with upgraded internal components as well, the Hundo includes lightweight aluminum gears and an improved combination of 10 HAC stainless-steel bearings, two high-precision NMB ball bearings, and a one-way stainless-steel bearing.
