Housed by an X2 Cräftic alloy one-piece frame allowing for increased strength, the Beast Spinning Reels are designed with a one-piece gear box that maintains an extremely compact and lightweight feel with plenty of structural strength for heavy-duty fishing applications. 

Equipped with a Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System for more consistent drag pressure throughout the entire drag range, the Beast Spinning Reels utilize evenly distributed drag washers both above and below the spool to enable buttery smooth drag performance. Designed for maximum cranking power while targeting big game in fresh or saltwater environments, the Abu Garcia Beast Spinning Reels rely upon Salt Shield Bearings that employ hydrophobic oil to stop the buildup of salt crystals and waterborne debris.
