Description
This 2.13m Stingray Egi Tiprun spinning rod has been specially designed for fishing for cephalopods using the “tiprun” jig.
It has the perfect action for casting, animating jigs and fighting cuttlefish and squid while limiting unhooking. As you know, cephalopods are tricky to fight and easily drop jigs if you force them too hard and their tentacles can tear if the rod is too hard.
The Stingray Egi Tiprun rod was designed to absorb the rear thrusts they are capable of delivering with their very powerful propulsion system. Tiprun jigs are heavier than conventional jerk jigs and are made for use on a boat.
The use of a fine braid (0.12 mm/0.14 mm) is recommended. Extremely sensitive, it has a solid tip and a progressive action allowing you to fight cuttlefish and squid with control and efficiency!
