HTO have named each Tempest rod based on the type of fishing it’s suited for. Instead of aimless length and weight descriptions, HTO have given you an idea of what each rod is designed to do.
All rods are made from a high-volume 40-ton Japanese carbon, this helps keep the blanks light but ultra-strong and crisp. It aids their recovery, making these the most accurate, distance casting tools HTO have ever produced at this price. HTO have further strengthened the blanks by using X-Tec Mesh, this unique wrap protects the integrity of the blank, further enhancing its performance and durability.
A wise man once said, “to add speed, add lightness” — to that end, HTO have looked at each rod and removed several whippings to reduce their weight, many rods have unnecessary whippings around the reel seats and butt caps. These are merely cosmetic, but add weight. HTO also think this minimalistic style looks cool, too!
